Home Sweet Home..

What a day! We started our day this morning in Clayton NM where we stayed the night at the Days Inn. After a slow start, we got on the road to head to our new apartment in Colorado Springs Colorado! The closer we got the more and more moutains we saw. It was amazing to see the Mountains appear so faintly off in the very distant skyline and watch them "grow" as we got closer, this was very exciting!! It began to rain and lightning the closer we got. We stopped in Trinidad at the Visitor's Center where there was no where to park the Trailblazer as we were pulling the Camaro behind us using a tow dolly. We ended up parking accross the street at a KFC/TacoBell where we had lunch afterwards. Once we were back on the road we were even more excited! I made a quick call to the apartment to make sure the leasing office would be open and we were apartment bound! After arriving we ended up going to the wrong Apartments due to a faulty GPS... go figure...right? Finally we arrived at our apartments. After a long search for a place to park the big beast we were driving, we found ourselves soaked sitting in the Leasing office signing documents! The lady handed us our keys and we were back into the pouring rain heading to our car excited to be able to finally see our new home. Nothing's ever that simple when it comes to us, we quickly realized there was no where for us to park by our home. Soaked and cold we began driving around making numerous phone calls trying to find someone to put the Driveshaft back in the camaro so we could return the tow dolly to Uhaul. No luck!!!!! We decided to go on post and saw a MP who escorted us to a do-it-yourself auto center where we thought we would be able to put the driveshaft back in but once again to no avail! One of the workers used his truck to pull the camaro from the dolly and we left it there overnight. Next, we headed back to the apartments and luckily found a spot where we could park the car/trailor and have enough time to view our new apartment! We loved it and can't wait to get moved in! Now, we were quickly gonna go to a Uhaul and rid ourselves of this chaos.... Once again, we couldnt find a Uhaul that had a Drop box, only the small independent ones!!! After 3 calls to Uhaul we finally found a location where we could drop it off! We're now in a Best Western about to eat dinner and get some much needed sleep, excited about what tomorrow brings!!!

New town, New beginnings.... we're ready for you!!!!

Glory to God!!!
