Here's a quick little video of us the other night in the snow! We were standing beneath a light, and could see ourselves just fine on the Flip, but for some reason it turned out dark! I decided to just go ahead and post it anyways!
Another quick video! This one is from just a few minutes ago! It's still coming down!

snow...Snow....SNOW!!!
(pics continued in another post, having to upload them to computer from phone!)
Once again we are having lots of snow! Everyone tells us we will get sick of it at some point but I just don't see how that's possible! Everytime I look out the window and see the yard..street.. trees and mountains covered in snow I just smile!!! Just another beautiful gift from the Lord! It just amazes me! Everything is perfectly blanketed in white! It just takes my breath away! Last night Armando and I went to King Soopers (grocery store) and we sat in the snow covered parking lot watching people all bundled up, braving the cold weather and snow covered streets to get groceries! All the while, there were millions of tiny little unique snowflakes falling all around!
We got out and took a couple of pictures and although it was dark, it still brought out it's on beauty! I just wanted to hop on and share a few of the photos with you guys! We will be taking more during the daytime soon! The forecast is giving 3 more inches tonight and 3 tomorrow!!!! We already have around 5 inches I would say! the temperatures are still dropping below freezing so we are keeping the heater going constantly in order to stay warm!
We will be leaving in 12 days headed home to Mississippi for Christmas and oh how excited I am!!!!!! I can't wait to see everyone but especially, My Mom, Dad, Brother and Ma and Pa!!!!!! Oh and believe it or not Little Bit... I miss him too! ;)
Well hope you guys enjoy the photos! I'll post again soon!
Lots of love!!

Negative 2 degrees... OH MY!!!
It's true! The temperature is -2!!! I think it reached -5 overnight and boy oh boy is it cold! It's been snowing the past few days so it's beautiful, but who would want to be out in it as cold as it is! This is definetly weather like I've never experienced before!
On another note... Armando was supposed to have surgery today but it was cancelled because the hospital's generators are down and they wont do any surgeries incase they lost the main power and wouldn't have backup! I guess we will probably reschedule it for the first of the year which is nice, that way Armando can enjoy the holidays without being in a sling and not being able to use his arm! Now that he doesn't have surgery... he has 2 be in the field for a week, I miss him already! I hate not having him home!
We decorated and took a few pictures! We will take more later and I'll post some of them! Still have to get our Christmas photo together and such!
Hope everyone is having a great week!
Love you all!

A time to be thankful....
and boy do we have alot to be thankful for!!! God is good!!! This Thanksgiving is going to be extra special since Armando is home and safe, able to share it with me!
We went yesterday and bought all of our stuff for a big Thanksgiving dinner with friends! It's nice to know we have good friends to share it with since we cannot be back home around family!
We are going to cook a Turkey for the first time! EEEK! Hoping it turns out good for everyone! We will take pictures and make sure to post them soon!
Also, it's family tradition on my Mom's side of the family to put Christmas decorations up on Thanksgiving Day! Armando and I do this as well, so we look forward to putting our tree up tommorow!!!! We've already been listening to Christmas music! Everyone out here is already in the Christmas spirit! All of the stores have been playing holiday tunes for a while now!
On Friday, we are leaving the house at 1:00 AM for the Black Friday sales! Armando has his eye on a new laptop we're going to try to get! *fingers crossed* I look forward to finishing up Christmas shopping, but do not look forward to braving this cold Colorado weather for hours trying to get a laptop! lol I started going to Black Friday many years ago with my Aunt Sandra! She's always included me in lots of fun things that I would have never got to do if it weren't for her, so for memories sake I will be making some stops at a few stores that I remember being excited about going to with her! Speaking of my Aunt Sandra, I first came to CO because of her inviting me on a road trip! I never knew back then I would be living here and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas! Just one of many things I am thankful for! I was blessed with so many wonderful Aunts who are very near and dear to my heart!
On another note, I am up early this morning because I had to make a Catalina Taco Salad for Armando's NCO dinner at work! Hope it turned out okay and everyone enjoys it! Now, I'm off to get ready for Armando's appointment at the Air Force. This will be our last appointment before his surgery on the 4th! I have to go take classes on how to properly take care of him and how to do his range of motion when he returns home from the hospital! Keep him in your prayers!!
I love you all and wish you a Very Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Lots of love,
Jenny
